Intro to Deathwork: Death Doula 101 SOLD OUT
Sunday, Feb 7th 2021 from 2-4pm MDT

Home Funeral Guide
Sunday, Feb 21st 2-4pm MDT
You’ve heard of home birth? This is home death. Home funerals are safe and legal. We will teach you what you need to know in an afternoon.
How to Plan a Funeral
Saturday, March 6th from 2-4pm MDT
You can plan your funeral, just like you plan your wedding or your births. If you are planning your own funeral, you are giving your family and loved ones the gift of not having to do so on your behalf. If you are planning it for someone else, you are also giving a gift. All funerals are not created equally, and you don’t have to spend the most to care the most.
Rituals & Crafting Ceremonies
Sunday, March 21st from 2-4pm MDT
Rituals and rites of passage help us to observe death and grieve well. In this class we will look at a spectrum of rituals and ceremonies, both ancient and homemade, that can be adapted into meaningful end of life ceremonies.
Community Grief
Sunday, April 4th 2-4pm MDT
This class is a tender place to explore how grief is practiced across different traditions and how we might use some of those practices to process or own grief, or help us support others in grief more effectively.
An Environmental Death: How to Respect the Planet & the Body After Death
Sunday, April 18th from 2-4pm MTD
In this workshop we explore our lasting footprint - what options we have after death - traditional burial, green burial, cremation, water cremation and more, and look at the grave impact that our modern funerals have on mother nature.
